She has been happily married to her husband, Dave, since 1987. Together, they share their home with an energetic English Springer Spaniel and five beloved cats. 

In her spare time, she enjoys activities like gardening, fishing, hiking, and especially scuba diving. Furthermore, she volunteers with the Lane County Sheriff's Department Search and Recovery Dive team.
